                              International  Friendship Day

 

            Hi everyone! Now I am going to talk about International Friendship Day. We all will commemorate it on Sunday 3^rd August. International Friendship Day is the day when we get to together and get to know about other races and religion. We will also get to know about other race people’s culture and other things about them. They also will learn about our ethnic costumes and cultures. We can learn how to wear other race people’s ethnic costumes for example how to tie a saree or a half saree. We can also know, what they will do or cook on their Festive days and why Chinese use red color things more than black color things. We learn more and more things about other races when we bond together during International Friendship Day and other days. I think you all would understand why we celebrate International Friendship Day

Reflection: when the day which was the first day of EL lesson I was very scared because in my primary school my English teacher screams at everyone so I thought that Madam Tan and Ms Foo will be the same so I was very scared. But Madam Tan and Ms Foo were very kind so after the first day of EL lesson the scaredness went off from me. So from then I started loving English and set a goal for me to at least pass or get a B4. And form then I found the EL lessons easy to understand and a fun place to learn more. Then after looking at my scores on English in CA1 I have decided to work harder and pay more attention in all EL lessons after March holidays .I am paying attention to teachers in EL lessons only some times and rest of the time not paying attention to teacher so after March holidays I have decided to pay attention all the time to all the teachers and all the subjects. And the teacher have help me the most they can.

                                Over come struggles and success

                 It was a Monday I was going to school nervously because it was the day which my English teacher say that he is going the tell the SA2 English marks for every one so I was nervous.

                   When I open my test paper I got a heart attack because I got 19 out of 100, it was a U grade. Then after school I went home with my my test paper. After my parents see my test paper the scolded me. From then onwards I decided to study hard but I did not know how to improve my English.

                    The next morning I went to school, when I reach school the first thing I did was to go to the staff where I can meet my English teacher.

                    When I approached another teacher to help me call my English teacher .the teacher told me that my English teacher was not in school so the end of the day I was going home without knowing how to improve my English

                      Then when I was on the way home I got an idea. The idea was about going to me tuition teacher’s house to ask for some tips on improving my English so as I though I approached my tuition teacher’s home and knock the door n call for my English teacher .then only my tuition  teacher’s neighbor told me that my teacher have gone out .

                        The next day I approach my English teacher and ask for some tips on improving on my English and he also gave me some tips. From that day onwards I followed all the tips and i though all the tips which my English teacher gave was enough so I didn’t approach my tuition teacher. And the next test my marks increase and for PSLE [Primary School Leaving Examination] I scored a “c”.
